If AI has helped me discover new cultures, refine my writing, and correct my blind spots, why shouldn’t it do the same for students? The issue isn’t that AI is too powerful, it’s that we haven’t yet taught students how to use it responsibly. Integration must begin with trust. We need to trust students to engage critically. We need to trust ourselves to innovate, even if that means letting go of methods we once believed sacred.

Incorporating AI into the classroom should not be seen as an act of surrender, but as a bold reimagination of what education can be. Let students use AI as part of their toolkit. Ask them to critique it. Challenge them to push back against it. Turn passive consumption into active dialogue.
